The puzzle

Three blondes walk into a bar and ask the bartender for three shots of tequila. He looks at them and says "OK" and pours their shots.
They all clink glasses and and yell "51 days!" Then they proceed to slam the shots, looking very self-satisfied. They look back to the bartender and decide to order another round. This time they pick up the glasses again and, more gleefully yell " Only 51 days!"
The bartender finally can't stand wondering what they are talking about and asks them what they mean by Only 51 days.
One of the blondes looks at him and says "Well," looking very smug. "We "We just finished a jigsaw puzzle. It took us Only 51 Days.....and on the box it said 4-7 years"

Cell phones are Dangerous

Canada is proposing to adopt a precautionary principle approach and guidelines

for limited cell phone use. Other countries that have already done so to some

degree or another include Russia, the UK, Israel, Belgium, Germany, India,

Finland and France. In

May of 2011, the World Health Organization (WHO)/International Agency for

Research on Cancer (IARC) issued a report admitting cell phones might cause

cancer, classifying radiofrequency electromagnetic fields as possibly

carcinogenic to human Researchers

have identified numerous mechanisms of harm, which explain how electromagnetic

fields impact your cells and damages your DNA.A

study by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) published in JAMA earlier this

year, led by leading brain imaging researcher Nora Volkow, found conclusive

evidence of altered brain activity after just 50 minutes of cell phone exposure.

This study, along with others, decimates the old notion that non-ionizing

(non-thermal) radiation is incapable of having a biological effect. An

important new analysis from Sweden, just published in Neurology &

Neurophysiology, projects a very large increase in brain cancer incidence

resulting from widespread mobile phone use beginning in approximately 15 years.

The projections are based on well-established known effects of this radiation on

DNA:that mobile phone use decreases the efficiency of the repair of mutated DNA

and that mobile phone use increases the rate of DNA mutations

THE LORD'S BASEBALL GAME

Freddy and the Lord stood by to observe a baseball game. The Lord's team was playing Satan's team.

The Lord's team was at bat, the score was tied zero to zero, and it was the bottom of the 9th inning with two outs. They continued to watch as a batter stepped up to the plate named 'Love.'

Love swung at the first pitch and hit a single, because 'Love never fails.'

The next batter was named Faith, who also got a single because Faith works withLove.

The next batter up was named Godly Wisdom. Satan wound up and threw the first pitch.

Godly Wisdom looked it over and let it pass: Ball one. Three more pitches and Godly Wisdom walked because he never swings at what Satan throws.

The bases were now loaded. The Lord then turned to Freddy and told him He was now going to bring in His star player. Up to the plate stepped Grace. Freddy said, 'He sure doesn't look like much!'

Satan's whole team relaxed when they saw Grace.
Thinking he had won the game, Satan wound up and fired his first pitch. To the shock of everyone, Grace hit the ball harder than anyone had ever seen! But Satan was not worried; his center fielder let very few get by.

He went up for the ball, but it went right through his glove, hit him on the head and sent him crashing on the ground;

the roaring crowds went wild as the ball

continued over the fence . . for a home run!

The Lord's team won!

The Lord then asked Freddy if he knew why Love, Faith and Godly Wisdom could get on base but couldn't win the game. Freddy answered that he didn't know why.

The Lord explained, 'If your love, faith and wisdom had won the game, you would think you had done it by yourself. Love, Faith and Wisdom will get you on base butonly My Grace can get you Home:

'For by Grace are you saved, it is a gift of God; not of works, lest any man should boast.' Ephesians 2:8-9

Psalm 84:11, 'For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.'

Jesus' Test

The Talking Centipede

A
single guy decided life would be more fun
if
he had a pet.

So he
went to the pet store
and
told the owner
that
he wanted to buy an unusual pet.

After
some discussion,
he
finally bought a talking centipede,
(100-legged
bug),
which
came in a little white box
to
use as his house.

He
took the box back home,
found
a good spot for the box,
and
decided he would start off
by
taking his new pet
to
church with him.

So he
asked the centipede in the box,
"Would
you like to go
to
church with me today?
We
will have a good time."

But
there was no answer
from
his new pet.

This
bothered him a bit,
but
he waited a few minutes
and
then asked again,
"How about
going
to
church with me
and
receive blessings?"

But
again,
there
was no answer
from
his new friend and pet.
So
he waited
a
few minutes more,
thinking
about the situation.

The
guy decided
to
invite the centipede
one
last time.

This
time
he
put his face up against
the
centipede's house and shouted,
"Hey, in
there!
Would
you like to go
to
church with me
and
learn about God?"
...

Three guys and their wives

Three guys who were the best of friends married women from different parts of the country.

The first man married a woman from Wisconsin. He told her that she was to do the dishes and house cleaning. It took a couple of days, but on the third day, he came home to see a clean house and dishes washed and put away.

The second man married a woman from Minnesota. He gave his wife orders that she was to do all the cleaning, dishes and the cooking. The first day was tough and he didn't see any results, but the next day he saw it was better. By the third day, he saw his house was clean, the dishes were done, and there was a beautiful dinner on the table.

The third man married a girl from West Virginia. He ordered her to keep the house cleaned, dishes washed, lawn mowed, laundry washed, and hot meals on the table for every meal.

He said the first day he didn't see anything. The second day he didn't see anything either, but by the third day, some of the swelling had gone down and he could see a little bit out of his left eye. His arm also was healed enough that he could fix himself a sandwich and load the dishwasher. He still has some difficulty when he pees.

Virtually all processed meats contain another well-known carcinogen: sodium nitrite. It's a commonly used preservative and antimicrobial agent that also adds color and flavor to processed and cured meats. Hot dogs, deli meats and bacon are notorious for their nitrite content, so even though they might be low in HCA's, they are far from healthful.

Nitrites can be converted into nitrosamines in your body, which are potent cancer-causing chemicals. Research has linked nitrites to higher rates of colorectal-, stomach- and pancreatic cancer.

Needless to say, should you choose to char your hot dog on the grill instead of heating it up in the microwave (which is what these researchers did) then you'd have both nitrites and HCA's to contend with from that hot dog.

The truth is, processed meats are not a healthful choice for anyone and should be avoided entirely, according to a recent review of more than 7,000 clinical studies examining the connection between diet and cancer! The report was commissioned by The World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF) using money raised from the general public. Therefore the findings were not influenced by any vested interests, which makes it all the more reliable.

It's the biggest review of the evidence ever undertaken, and it confirms previous findings: Processed meats increase your risk of cancer, especially bowel cancer, and NO amount of processed meat is "safe." A previous analysis by the WCRF found that eating just one sausage a day raises your risk of developing bowel cancer by 20 percent!

Other studies have also found that processed meats increase your risk of:

Colon cancer by 50 percent
Bladder cancer by 59 percent
Stomach cancer by 38 percent
Pancreatic cancer by 67 percent

And that's not all.

Hot dogs, bacon, salami and other processed meats may also increase your risk of diabetes by 50 percent, and lower your lung function and increase your risk of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

People who eat processed meats regularly also tend to eat fewer vegetables than others, which likely only compounds any health risks.

So what's the moral of this story?

Don't jump to conclusions based on piecemeal reporting. The overall evidence is actually pretty cut-and-dry: processed meats will raise your cancer risk and should be avoided as much as possible. So, don't believe you're eating healthier by switching from grilled chicken to hot dogs and other processed meats.
